Mykonos old port in the 80's

Bradnwhs is an Australian friend of mine - a photographer on Flickr, actually, who has also just started his own photo blog showcasing at this time some exquisite silhouettes.
Bradnwhs was in Mykonos some 20 years ago and he was kind enough to give me his permission to publish in this blog a picture of the old port he had taken in the 80's... Such pictures may be kind of nostalgic for some and a document for many!..
The specific spot is no other than the eastern side of the blue domed church of Saint Nicholas of the Kadena, which is not shown here. On the other hand, one can clearly see the church of the Saiunt Nicholas of the wind and also the white marble banc of the fish market - without the white tent over it...
What is most interesting, though, is the fact that this part of the sandy beach was still used at the time as fisherboats parking, adding color and a touch of ordinary island life to the scene as a whole...
This is not the case today... Just a couple of fisherboats are parked at this spot and I just wonder if this is due to the fact that fisherboats would block the view from the port coffee shops and restaurants...
